This is specific to EVERYWHERE. The same narrative is being sold in all countries and most are on the verge of falling to right wing extremists because of it.
This could apply just as well to politics in the Netherlands. And for as far as I’ve followed it, most of the rest of Europe as well.

Capitalism… At some point people need to realize they are working to make others richer. From the products you buy to the products your company makes, just stuff designed to break and not worth spending on. Even new houses today have a shortened life. Anyone buy one recently and see the contract term estimated life of the house is about 60years?!? Yep folks, the house you’re dropping 500k+ on it expected to last about 60 years.
This might be a left vs right comic, but the issue doesn’t matter in the end because capitalism is going to fuck us all over.
