Like yeah, anthropomorphic animals have always been a thing but there’s something about this movie that made it an obsessive thing? Sorta like how Pulp Fiction invented “gimps”….

Yeah, but they were pretty different. What we imagine today is pretty influenced by Pulp Fiction.
For me it was mostly Charlie from All Dogs Go to Heaven, but yeah Disney’s Robin Hood was also a factor!
