My cats now do exactly as the comic, but I used to have a pair, Max and Minnie (Max/Min) and if the water was too low in the glass, Max would stick his paw in, but Minnie knew that the way you get water out of a glass is to knock it down. So she would just knock it over and lap up the puddle, no glass was safe.
