My cat only drinks water off of his paws, so he just runs up and dunks his paw in your drink
My cats now do exactly as the comic, but I used to have a pair, Max and Minnie (Max/Min) and if the water was too low in the glass, Max would stick his paw in, but Minnie knew that the way you get water out of a glass is to knock it down. So she would just knock it over and lap up the puddle, no glass was safe.
The same paws that were kicking around kitty litter 20 minutes ago.

Lucky, mine came back and wanted more. Nothing terrified me more than the idea of the little crack head getting caffeinated.
don’t give your cats any caffeine, it’s poisonous to them. just in case someone here didn’t know. many cat owners don’t know.

Yeah, it’s more his personality. My other cat is very chill but the smallest one has a compulsion to shred cardboard and paper, really anything that will tear. He also plays by himself running up and down the hallway all hours of the night chasing toys he brought there for the purpose. Just a ton of energy, gets bored easily.
