I don’t know much about skydiving but i think these days, they always do tandem jumps for someone’s first jump. Without groping.

Yes, that’s the joke of the comic. Of course, it’s not as lighthearted if you think about it too much, especially with a modern lens, but then that’s like 90% of the time with this comic.
The point is saying that’s the same as the bear thing is super dismissive to the whole point of that thought experiment.

it is not the same as bear, it is worse. because now there is a person falling out of the plane that is panicking from two different things, the fall itself, and the attack she just underwent.
seriously saying “yes, he attacked her, but he did it to help her achieve her goals” is pure insanity and people saying that are exactly the people the women are running from towards the bear.
it is also quite stupid on a factual level. if she decides she does not want to jump, its her decision, she already paid and the instructor does not really give a shit. throwing terrified beginner out of the plane is not a good idea.

What happened to Geordi? Swell guy, ace engineer, saves the ship loads of times.
he was also creep to living person on the holodeck and when that person found out, he tried to guilt-trip her with “i am guilty of reaching out to you”. the author’s intention was to create “shy guy unlucky in love”, but ended up with creepy incel (before the term was cool). the character aged about as well as the “joke” we are talking about.

The joke is that that was the goal. She is a student parachute jumper but is afraid of jumping. The teacher kisses her without consent hence she jumps to get out of his company.
This comic went over a lot of people’s heads. Critical thinking is dead.
no it didn’t. some people just don’t think that “she was afraid to jump out of the plane, so he made her by sexual assault” is especially funny.
I’m adding headcanon. In the last panel he’s grinning but he’s also missing a couple teeth. I’m going with, she punched him out before jumping. Apparently still worth it, but hey, it’s Jucika, of course she’s worth it.

I think, it did not, but people consider this logic more flawed these days. I would say the joke is layered and it’s not bad only on a few layers while being offensive on others, achieving the goal by any means being one of the bad ones

Yeeesh. That that does sound kind of shitty. I guess the comic kind of takes on another tone if you pause to remember a dude drew it.
