This is one of the earliest examples of the Addams Family being a family. Morticia appears to be giving Granny Frump a tour, and mentions Uncle Eimar.

I had a much different strip planned for today, but i had an eye appointment (first time in 8 years, and yes i need new glasses) in the city, and my cat has been sick, so i had to pick up medicine for him. Any way, i ran out of time.

    Is there anything I’m missing here? There’s no joke or twist or anything. Is it just world building? (Admittedly I haven’t paid too much attention to your previous Addams Family posts so maybe this is just how they always are)

      Uncle Eimar is in a disappointments room, but because the family has money and there’s clearly more space in the attic, presumably this is the type of room that Uncle Eimar wanted. He chose to be locked up here.
