I love lamp.

I “see” blurry shapes and muted colors sometimes, like a game with low quality hallucinated textures that fade quickly. If i think about it, it’s more like a sense of direction, distance, and scale. I feel turning left or zooming out for a better perspective.

I’ve learned so much doing this, seeing what comes year after year both plants and animals. I got 13 bird IDs in one sitting with Merlin the other day and use iNaturalist and plantnet really often. My black cherry trees are getting big and I’ve got young wild grape vines all over.

Watched Jacques Cousteau’s crew do this in “The Silent World” and go crazy on a bunch of sharks.
