I was laid off from a place I only worked at for a month and I could already tell I was going to hate it there. The separation was mutual, but still took me 3 months to get over it. It is frustrating to lose your income and coverage, and it is even more frustrating to have to jump through the hoops of hell known as the job market. You are not alone, and the feelings you have are perfectly normal in today’s society.

Food trucks can be and often are better than restaurants that just don’t give a damn because food trucks are generally works of passion. Assuming you have enterprise software that actually has a budget and isn’t driven by suits then dedicated roles will get you superior software that can last a long time almost every time.
Full stack is also slightly dangerous since you can silo entire features to a single person. The same can be said to dedicated roles depending on the setup, but the points of failure are much narrower if that one guy wins the lottery or is but by a bus.

I’ve had this happen when using VPN. I also tried disabling ublock, but I get this behavior for 5-10 seconds before the video loads. I get no such behavior on Chrome.

I didn’t know there was a feed. The subscription page is what I have bookmarked, not the home page. People have complained about not getting notified of new videos, but that hasn’t happened to me once in the 15+ years I have been using YouTube.
They tell us we don’t own the game, only a license to play the game that they can arbitrarily revoke.

A thing to keep in mind is that a lot of tech companies still think people are more productive in the office and force you to come in, despite having metrics that say otherwise.
This isn’t really a question, but I’ll respond with my experience.
As a kid I had a mother that was incredibly health conscious. She always fed me “alternative” foods with strong flavors. It instilled a hatred for health foods in me, but it also changed my taste buds to have a particular distaste for sweet foods.
I am now in my 30s. I still eat healthy. I don’t binge eat. I stay away from overly salty foods. And guess what. My health is still a mess. I get what feels like food poisoning all the time. A lot of foods still make me sick.
At some point you need to realize that eating healthy is not always a solution. Healthy foods do not work for everybody, whether it be a severe dislike of the taste or allergies to the additives that are frequently required to make health food taste good. I have begun thinking it is better to have too many nutrients than not enough. It is better to drink a lot of juice loaded with sugar than it is to be dehydrated.
I would rather live a happy life for 40 years than an unhappy one for 80, especially given the current direction of politics and the fact I am now 50% microplastics.
In the end, you need to find out what works best for you and what makes you the happiest version of yourself.
As you alluded to, the developers will get exactly 0% of the profits from that price hike. Games today are very profitable at $60. The problem is that execs are eating into those profits before pissing the rest down to the developers. There is also a really shitty tech bro culture that many game studios have, decorating their studios with overpriced and expensive tat which should have been spent on employees.
That is what I am hoping/waiting for. I’ve been looking to switch to an EV for a few years now but have been turned off by the price, lack of physical buttons, and poor battery performance in cheaper models. I am praying the redesigned Leaf will clear all 3.
Peak efficiency.
People can change, but don’t put your life on hold waiting for that to happen. I can’t say for sure what kind of person this is since I’ve never met the guy, but I can tell you that you will be waiting a long time if he is behaving how you described. Communication is incredibly important as a foundation for a relationship, and ghosting indicates they won’t be able to discuss things with you when things get really bad. This is a skill that is learned young and it is harder to learn it with age.
Let that flame die out and only let it be reignited if the person makes real effort to really talk to you.

Which is why nobody cares about GOP opinions and why most of the world thinks you are retarded. Like it or not, you live with people different from you, and you need to learn to play nice and compromise. I’m not saying to give up your morals completely, but meet in the middle and come up with something that works for both of you.
Trademark generally only applies within the same medium. The point is to prevent confusion between two competing products. A movie and a video game do not overlap.

Non-jokes aside, there are multiple names for this. Anecdotal evidence is the primary one while confirmation bias is discarding statements (factual or fictional) that do not align with your vision.
