Also there is so much aggression towards me for a mild comment. I usually don’t engage with stuff like this but seeing it being upvoted so many times on Lemmy (we’re supposed to be left leaning and all about equality) got me interested in a response because this post is just misandrist in my eyes.
And why is expecting sex bad? We’re dating for a romantic relationship and sex is part of it XD
But I didn’t do anything. Why should I go into an interaction with the assumption that the other person thinks I want to kill them? “Have empathy” seems more like “assume you are in the wrong because you are a man.” That’s just sexism.
