This is a good skill but very different to my understanding of dissociation. In dissociation you are unable to even observe your thoughts or feelings and your brain may not even make memories in this state. It’s a pretty severe coping mechanism.
The safe, numbing bear hug for your feelings.
Taking action against someone or even just DMing them because of downvotes is some weak shit.
I’ve decided to speedrun it. Last time it took 30 days, going to try and top that this year.

Sounds similar to me in some ways, I think a small group of friends like that is better though. A few of us a still quite close and catch up regularly so I call that a win vs being generally popular.

Definitely agree with this, I find Siu Nim Tau a good example of it for me.
Lots of physical training and also escapism. I guess training is also a form of escapism in a way too.
