Had to look up what a ute was, for any Americans it’s a pickup truck. And I was going to say the exact same thing, judging people for having a spotless pickup.

Hooray, I’m glad my thought process for initial steps was correct. If you don’t mind me asking, my thought process for the recommendation of canvasing as opposed to something like flyers is that doing so would make you and your efforts come across as more human and genuine, especially if part of the pitch was that Comcast was astroturfing, do you know if that’s something that actually works?
I don’t have any experience doing this, so take everything I say with a grain of salt, but my first step would be to collect information on how similar projects have turned out in the past, in terms of cost and adoption, as well as how much money Comcast is spending to counter this effort and what kinds of services they offer in the area at different price points. Then see if there are any people in the community that agree with you on the deployment of municipal internet who could be convinced to make the effort to assist you with convincing the rest of the community. With that information and those people, organize a canvasing effort, as in go door to door and actually talk to people about their stance on the matter. I would focus on that “locally owned and operated” argument, as well as the fact that if Comcast is spending money trying to prevent this they surely must be expecting to earn even more money from not having any competition in the area, so they can get away with higher prices and worse service.
I mean, the reason why polyandry is so much less common is that nine months is much longer than half an hour, or at least that’s the most obvious reason.
Speaking as someone who didn’t get a phone until 16 or 17, I would say try to figure out what kids his age are using to communicate with each other and get him a device that allows him to participate in that. At the same time, try to educate yourself on what parental controls are available, and at least try to make an effort to educate them on computer and internet literacy, stuff like how to recognize and not engage with clickbait and to not overshare information where it can be seen by strangers.
I’ve always said if money can’t buy happiness then what’s the point in having it.
How do you think Tucker Carlson avoided getting sued off the air for as long as he did?
It might not be called aphantasia since it isn’t for sight, but yeah it exists, I have it for taste and smell.
Florida allows felons to vote if the state the felony conviction occurred in allows felons to vote. New York allows felons to vote, thus Florida allows him to vote.
I’m going to second this, the linked video explains a lot of the controversy really well.
Oh they absolutely condone it, both by frequently ignoring reports of fake reviews and occasionally even banning the reporter and by allowing companies to do that thing where they swap product pages to get a bunch of free reviews from something completely different.
I’m sorry, Amazon complained about fake reviews!? They know what site they run right, and more to the point the behavior they almost explicitly condone on that site?
A comment I saw recently said if someone is called weird and they agree with you, they are the good weird, but if you call them weird and they get defensive/aggressive they are the bad weird. You are clearly the good kind of weird, and I think everyone else will recognize that if you call yourself weird.
I think it means more dangerous to use, not more dangerous to be around.
Oh hey, I remember Mythbusters did a thing on that years ago, got a professional sniffer in who was almost consistently able to detect samples of fear sweat out of a lineup of sweat samples. So yeah, fear smell is absolutely a thing if you know what to sniff for.
Some absolutely do, some nominally don’t but don’t stop to think about the implications of what they say they want, and probably most think education is great. The term Christian refers to so many people that making any broad assertions is going to be wrong for large percentages of the group.
See, you say they can’t impeach someone who isn’t in office, I’m pretty sure they actually can but usually just don’t bother because there didn’t used to be much point.
You missed a step in that plan of yours of also taking out every single supreme court justice that decided to give the president full immunity at the same time he took out Trump. Anyone willing to do that is clearly both too traitorous to the nation to be allowed to keep their and too stupid for not seeing that coming to be allowed to live and continue to do such damage in the future.
(Disclaimer, not actually advocating for murder, I don’t think)
Also you’re allowed to plead the fifth on the origin of the income IIRC, though honestly that’s just as likely to get you looked at by the FBI/local constabulary.
The idea of it being numbered is that you are given your number when you vote to check against later, but nobody else is given that number so they can’t tie the vote to you.
