minus-squareIlovethebomb@lemm.eelinkfedilinkarrow-up19·9 months agoFor some reason, my local supermarket had decent quality wool socks on sale at a very cheap price, so I bought twenty pairs. So I now have an entire drawer full of identical socks, and hopefully won’t need to buy more for another year or two.

minus-squareIlovethebomb@lemm.eelinkfedilinkarrow-up6·9 months agoIs saving time and making life easier for yourself mega boring to you?
minus-squaremorphballganon@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up6·9 months agoLet’s just paint all walls white and all houses beige while we’re at it, yeah? No need for fun since it interferes with saving time and making life easier

minus-squaremorphballganon@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up4·edit-28 months agoChoosing paint colors is like choosing sock colors. You choose a fun variety because just black and grey is boring.
minus-squareIlovethebomb@lemm.eelinkfedilinkarrow-up8·9 months agoI don’t choose the colour of my house every morning though. More like once a decade for the outside.
minus-squareMac@mander.xyzlinkfedilinkarrow-up5·9 months agoBut when you buy new ones you have to separate the old vs the new because they fit differently.
minus-squarehelpImTrappedOnline@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up4·9 months agoNot when you only buy new socks when the olds ones are beyond rescue…or you buy the same socks again and mix em up.
minus-squarehelpImTrappedOnline@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up5·9 months agoMix them all!!! At first its easy to tell which is which, so naturally you’ll gravitate towards the new ones leaving the old in the back of the drawer. After a year so, they’ll all look the same.
