    And here I was expecting that AI will allow people to be more productive and retire early. Man, I was so naive.

      No AI gets to make art and design systems which will leave us free to do the back breaking manual labor.

        “Was” doesn’t imply they think we’ve hit rock-bottom.

        They were naive to think “AI” would improve things, but now they are appropriately pessimistic going forward.
