Does this plugin work on mobile too? I’m looking to try out Obsidian and this sounds promising.

ngl I actually thought the official intro was some kind of fan edit.
I’ve always suspected people conflate communism with dictators, which is the main cause of distrust for anything anti-capitalism.
Are there any examples of a nation successfully transitioning out of capitalism without ending up in a dictatorship? I want to believe it can be done, but I have no idea what it would look like.
Most mainstream distros are no harder to learn than Windows or macOS. People (especially as they get older) are just averse to relearning how to do things.
I call this “physical memory”. If you struggle with remembering things, you can organize your space to augment your memory. It’s VERY effective and is often simpler/easier than writing things down.
Also, if you are living with someone who does this, for the love of god, do not move their stuff without asking. You are basically erasing part of their memory and setting them up for failure.
Every time I watch that movie I wonder how it got made. The elevator pitch for it is terrible. The story is corny and confusing, and it’s so unnecessarily expensive. The cast, sets, and costumes are all so over the top for something so campy. Apparently it only made back 80% of its $35M budget in the box office (Empire Strikes Back came out the same year with a $23M budget).
It really shouldn’t exist and there’s nothing quite like it. I think I love it for that reason alone.
A Knight’s Tale is a good movie, though. Not everyone likes the pop soundtrack, but if you suspend that disbelief, it’s a solid movie.
I saw an interview a while back where the director said that the movie was trying to give the audience a taste of what a jousting tournament would feel like, so they chose a modern sound track to help a modern audience feel the hype.
My curiosity got the better of me and I watched a video of a drug cartel beheading three people. Two with a chainsaw, one with a knife. It was horrific and not quick.
If you’re ever tempted to watch something like that, do not do it. It’s not worth it. It’s been years and I still have random intrusive thoughts about it and it makes me physically ill.
Cool new biome! A bit late for spooky season, but it’s still neat.
At this point, Star Wars is just a setting. The reason Star Wars shows/movies continue to be so divisive is because people expect the tone/genre of their favorite piece of Star Wars content.
For example, expecting to like Acolyte because you liked Rogue One is ridiculous. They have almost nothing in common. You wouldn’t expect to like Dr Strange because you liked Dunkirk.
Just because it has a Star Wars brand on it doesn’t mean it will be anything like other things with the Star Wars brand. Expecting that will lead to disappointment.
These are all pretty common opinions.
You mean like imagining a voice speak out your thoughts? Thoughts are so much faster than speech, I feel like having to speak out all your thoughts would slow things down significantly.
The best tip I learned about reading faster is to stop narrating the words in your head, which puts a hard limit on your reading speed.
