Every day in the US, someone swears at me.

I generally don’t get why swearing is apparently so normalised in the USA. At least in US-made content (from films to books to music to internet posts, everything) the word “fuck” is being used so frequently.

I’m generally very happy with opensuse tumbleweed, so far the best desktop distros I’ve tried. Very polished and user friendly.

I think I found your issue… Most Linux distros just work nowadays.

Didn’t take much effort, hybrid mode got implemented automatically and then I just manually added a widget for quick switching between only integrated graphics, hybrid mode and only nvidia (basically never using that one, just either integrated or hybrid)

pls

sudo zypper install programname

sudo zypper remove programname

or

sudo flatpak install programname

sudo flatpak uninstall programname

Doesn’t get more complicated than that.

And for updates

sudo zypper refresh

sudo zypper update

sudo flatpak update

Much faster than opening a GUI, and it didn’t take long for me to remember the commands.

Last time I checked (like two years ago) I got 30 fps on Java with ray tracing that still didn’t look as good as the one that gave me 60-90 fps on Bedrock

I wouldn’t mind if they just give us a final Java edition version that has ray tracing support (the only thing I love about bedrock edition, such fancy shaders).

Everything else can be done with mods, and we could finally settle on one version instead of rewriting all mods over and over again.

People don’t have that much money. They have companies that are worth that much.

No single person has 1 billion. They just own companies that are worth that much.

How does that work when for example a single company is worth two billion? Does the government now own >50% of it?
