  • You’ll get used to them. Just remember to check if your tire profile is deep enough (4 mm), and slow down before curves + start accelerating halfway through them. And obviously keep more distance than usual.

    Oh and always carry chains. Putting them on the tires isn’t too hard, but try it once before (when your hands aren’t cold and you aren’t stressed). Most of the time you won’t need them but when you do need them you really do.




  • I’m responding to rustyfish and felykiosa. People from French colonies are French citizens and can therefore comparatively easily emigrate to mainland France.

    Backfires as in every country can take a limited number of migrants and usually try to reserve most of their capacities for people who actually need them (people fleeing from oppression, war or other life-threatening situations) instead of taking many people who just come for the better economy (this way the economy in their homecountry won’t get better)




  • By week 8 their brain starts working (allowing the first spontaneous movements, not more). So before that it’s not even up for discussion (no brain activity = not human), after that it starts getting tricky (how much brain activity is needed for it to be considered human?)

    In my country you can abort until the 14th week
