Somehow I can’t see it’s posts from my client tho, but webbrowser and posting into it works.
They “can just grab them by the pussy” after all.
OP is like “aw cute”, but the snapper just sees a potential meal 😄
I think this is the one case where you should use hanged instead of hung, but I’m not a native speaker, so not 100% sure.
I’m pretty sure I saw this guy post on Lemmy twice.
Not just the USA. Historically humans considered teens as young adults, granting them more rights and responsibility as they transition to adulthood, sometimes with parental consent.
It is a recent development that we look back thinking “no way should me or my friends have been able to marry or worse, arranged to be married at that age”
hyprland has useful features for a tiling compositor, like a special container you can toggle that goes in front of your workspace and it’s easy to customise and set up.
However, i think wayfire, even though much harder to set up (it needs a proper config and some helper apps or it’s just empty and you can’t even launch anything), has cooler effects and has a simple tiling plugin.
Also Gnome/mutter with the Forge extension is better than both, because you can optionally use just the mouse to drag windows at the title bar and drop them in a tiling frame of your choice. This is very helpful when your left hand is full of cheeto dust etc… Gnome also has the extensions Burn My Windows, Focus, Desktop Cube and Dash to Panel which get you cool effects as well. It also has a Tweaks tool and the extension Just Perfection, which give you additional customization options. Gnome is very easy to set up and usable OOTB, even though not fine tuned. Also it is still backwards compatible to X11, in case you need that one app that looks crap in wayland (looking at you, Java)
Spoken like someone who doesn’t have proper backups.
Do you really think ppl don’t break their wayland setup? For example, some systems don’t get a mouse cursor in wayland umless they switch the cursor to software rendering. To do that, they must often set an env var for the wayland process, but there is no standard way to do it. Half of them starts tinkering with their PAM and the others with their .profile . Sometimes this breaks every way to log in.
hahaha, this is like posting on 4chan /b/ (it got hacked recently tho. not sure if it’s still down or safe to visit)
😯 how many tabs did you open?
I’m not using swap on my work and gaming PCs > 10 years now. I first started to question I need it, when I got a new PC going from 512MB to 2GB. Now I have 20GB in one of them and I don’t think I will ever be able to fill it all up until I get an upgrade again.
In theory you don’t need to clean them at all, because they will hose them down at the recycling plant and also some residue will incinerate when they melt them.
However, until it’s collected, dirty trash will attract rats and insects and it will smell disgusting, especially in summers. I would recommend cleaning it a bit, if you can.
Yeah, there’s a lot of posts like “Version X of program Y has been released” or other usekess tech stuff, but that’s just like 20 users. Once you have blocked them, the good stuff is easier to find.
The All feed seems to have hundreds of posts throughout the day. I also have a lot of communities blocked, just because I’m not interested in them. There’s still coming a lot of other stuff through. Lemmy is just amazing with lots if content.
no, it’s not weird. you gotta stay open minded.
