I don’t know what you daily drive, but I used my laptop to trial Linux desktop environments and make sure I knew what I was doing before converting my main PC from Windows to Arch (btw)

What is the deal with niri? I keep hearing about it, and it seems to have supplanted hyprland as the cool kid on the block.

I’ve been using hyprland pretty exclusively for the past 6 months or so, but niri could be interesting.

This is why I always unplug the other drive before I install Linux, because the one time I didn’t I couldn’t boot the other OS anymore.

I didn’t format the wrong drive, but the Linux installer automatically detected the existing EFI partition and just overwrote it. Luckily, that was the only issue and I was able to recreate the EFI partition, and it taught me a lesson that I will never forget.

I keep a portable jump starter/battery bank in the car, just in case. You can get one for ~100 bucks and for the one or two times I used it (on other people’s cars), it’s been totally worth it.

I don’t inherit the sins of my father solely because of my skin color. Again, that is straight up racism. I don’t call anybody a slave just because their skin is dark. I just showed up here - I didn’t have any say in it, and to suggest that I absorb the wrongdoings of other people just because I have a similar skin color to them is fucked up

I am willing to judge anybody on their actions and the content of their character, and I hope to GOD that I find some genuine people. It’s lonely out here, we don’t need any further division from you or anyone else.
