Predator: Killer of Killers was so good! I stayed up and watched it the other night as well!

I bought a refrigerator from Best Buy about 7 years ago and when it arrived it came with cockroaches. For days after the fridge was delivered I’d find dead roaches on the floor or see them scamper away when I turned on the light. So I bought a big bag of boric acid powder and lightly sprinkled that stuff around the kitchen floor leaving a nice thin dusty coat on the tile. After three days I vacuumed up the powder and I never saw another roach again.

I never seen one with a clip until recently. I just purchased a new monitor and the DP cable it came with had the clip. First time for everything I suppose.

The first time I remember seeing this was in 2000s Traffic.

Amen to that Brother Reverend! I love when there is nothing to do. It is so liberating. But after a day or two I start to feel guilty I’m not being a productive member of society.

I have the same thing except it’s my dad. I’ve been able to become lucid on occasion when it happens and it’s like I get to hang out with my dad again. I have yet to tell him he is dead in the real world when it does occur. I’m afraid of what will happen if I do.

Then we’re celebrating that we’ve continued to fuck the planet up and escaped the major looming consequences for another year.

Based on experience ol’ Dad would have put on a few more pounds in those 5 years.

We did get “Radiant Is the Blood of the Baboon Heart” in 2023 so at least we got something recently.

What is the criteria one has to meet for consumption to be considered unhealthy? For me it depends on the day. Sometimes I can get by with a few hits and other days I feel like I can’t function without a constant blaze across my face.

A few times I’ve seen Dune referred to as Star Wars for Goths. Seems fitting from a strictly superficial standpoint.

Absolutely! The voice acting was like nothing else at the time! MGS totally raised the bar and changed the landscape for what we come to expect out of a game. It’s a true masterpiece.
