There’s some debate on the age of the old parish church where I live. It was either built on the 7th century or 1078
I am completely baffled by this post
Can confirm the UK is in the middle of a dental crisis.
My own experience was waiting on a list at the practice the rest of my family goes to for 5 yrs before they admitted they are short on dentists and haven’t been able to fill spots.
I then had to spend an afternoon phoning around 40 of the local dentists looking for someone that could put me on there books.
On the up side I am getting the tidy up work I have needed since just before lockdown on the teeth I smashed as a drunk teen at last

Dunno how it’s done elsewhere but our course are usually measured in 3 parts 1 exam 2 practical 3 essey/investigation. Everyone hates exams
When I was at uni lecturers would often state that exams were thr worst measure of grasping the subject material but its all we have at the moment.
I saw this my self with some of my class mates testing very well but when discussing or problem solving outside of the class there was nothing there.
I think llms fall into this category but with way better recall.
This is too real especially the family stuff
One resteraunt I went to shoved on 10% with a note saying opt out. Nowhere was this mentioned until the bill.
Here’s yhe annoying thing if the food cost 10% more I’d still have happily paid for the meal recommended the place and come back for more as the food was good and cheap for what you got.
That 1 thing has annoyed me enough I’m never returning and recommending to others to avoid.
Scotland. As much as they are trying tipping isn’t. Thing here but back in the days when we payed by cash I’d usually just round it up to the next £5 or £10
I’ll be honest I thought it was just this one recaptioned. Thank you for pointing it out that they are messing around in different ways
