If it weren’t for networking I would have never gone from being a line cook that barely graduated highschool to a CAD tech for a land surveying company. As a regular enjoyer of vaping (used to be a pack a day smoker), this is great news. Fuck disposable vapes because theirs nothing “disposable” about them. Plastic, electronics, metals, and lithium batteries that people just fucking throw out their car windows like cigarette butts. That shit is gonna last for thousands of years. And y’all have seen those videos of people’s phones and vapes exploding in their pockets when there’s a puncture in the battery, right? Yeah let’s just throw that shit into landfills and out of car windows and find out what happens.

Five Finger Death Punch is as close as you can possibly get to pop music without leaving the genre of metal completely. I don’t judge people if it’s their jam, I just think they are extremely mediocre at best. It’s no coincidence that the majority of their most popular songs are covers.

But hey, people like what they like.

I keep a backpack in my car with at least two changes of clothes, allergy pills, ibuprofen, sunscreen, and deodorant, toothbrush, and first aid. Worst case I’m ready when shit hits the fan. Best case I’m always ready for a surprise slumber party.

Did… Did they get the job? I kinda hope they did. Being overly excited can fuck you over sometimes. Like a weird yell could even fuck you over.

I’m not an expert, but I’d say it’s because your legs are basically half your body. Not only that but most leg exercises require the use of other muscles. Like, if you’re squatting with weights you are using pretty much every major muscle group in your body.

Regardless, I still got better results than Google.

My favorite one recently is constantly telling me to keep straight to remain on a highway like 7 times before I need to actually get off the highway. Glad I turned off the sound a long time ago otherwise I would have lost my fucking mind.

I was honestly getting so frustrated the other day at work when searching for something very specific and coming up empty handed. Tried DuckDuckGo and even fucking Bing and found what I needed in a matter of seconds. Google search is trash now. I have to go to the second page or further just to find something that isn’t an ad, AI response, or reddit. None of which are helpful.

I think this can work with men too. I know this because I am a man and love cheese. I love cheese so much that I go through the pain of being lactose intolerant just to eat me some of that cheese.

It’s just the new trend. One person starts it and has a successful video, and then everyone else follows it regardless of whether or not that was the reason for success. But I’ll take it over constantly using jump cuts every 5 seconds. That shit has been obnoxious for years. Most of the things I watch on YouTube these days are educational stuff so I don’t see either of these things that often. The only time I’m okay with the multiple angles is if they use it as like a “tangent camera” for when you know they are going off script or just expressing their opinions on what they are talking about. You know, an actual reason for two cameras instead of just “oooo look at me.”

The YouTube trend that’s been pissing me off are the YouTubers that change the thumbnail and title an hour after it’s posted because it’s not getting enough views and then make a community post talking about how it’s the best video they ever made.

It is Wednesday my dudes.

I still try my best to do what I can. But at the same time I’ve come to terms with the fact that we’re all fucked and everything I’m doing is pointless. But I’d rather do what I can and strive to do better than give up and make things worse. I have completely selfish reasons for doing my part and it’s literally just because I’d feel like an asshole.

I try not to be an asshole and I just like sharing my opinion. I just like to bitch about the general state of affairs for various things. Be it video games or politics, I’ll bitch about anything I find to be awful. I think I do it because I want to try and help people understand why a situation is fucked up or shouldn’t be happening. For example how so many video game companies are just laying off all their employees for whatever reason they want to give you. I just like to call out bullshit when I see it. Sometimes I come off as rude when really I’m just mad that it’s happening and not really bitching about the users making the posts or comments but more towards the bullshit situations.

And I like “colorful” words.

Why not save the AI nonsense to the AI communities on here? Plus this isn’t a shit post it’s just a shitty post.

When it comes to protesting like this I don’t really give a shit if someone paints over parts of a building. But the books themselves? That’s just fucked up. I understand they are trying to get people pissed over this but this is entirely the wrong way to do it. All this will do is make everyone pissed off at you instead. I’d say a good rule of thumb for protest graffiti is whether or not it can still be used after it’s been covered in paint. Graffiti on a wall doesn’t make the wall unusable. But if someone put graffiti on the windshield of my car I’d be so pissed off I wouldn’t give two shits about the message.

This is a very common thing outside the bubble that is the US. In fact, before COVID it was totally normal to see people wearing masks when they were sick in public places. A little strange to see, but still normal and nobody really cared. People didn’t give two shits back then versus now where they stick out like a sore thumb. Before you’d see someone wearing a mask and think “oh, they might be sick” and move on with your life before you even had a chance to put it into your long term memory. It’s not that it’s weird to wear a mask. It’s that everyone forgot that it used to not be weird at all. The fact that they are getting judged in the first place would seem completely ridiculous 5 years ago.

The fact that there is a stigma in the first place is incredibly silly. Masks are a great tool to prevent getting others sick. It’s like if someone made fun of you for using a screwdriver instead of doing it by hand.
