Least favorite: Never had one in Canada, but the Taco Bells in India were at a premium price point for some weird reason. Was the food premium? No. Quite the opposite actually. Alongside this, definitely Tim Hortons. Fuck that place. So so unsanitary. Coffee is burnt, tea is bitter, their Boston creams taste like sugary snot packed in a sugar bomb dough… I have no idea why people get stuff from Tim’s.

Most favorite: Calgary coop’s non packaged food or whatever it’s called. Their bakery produces DELICIOUS stuff. Very slightly more expensive than Tim’s, but their Boston creams are so so good. Less sweet AND THEY HAVE SOME FLAVOR. Their muffins and fritters are massive (and delicious).

Coop gas bars are severely underrated too. They sell French vanillas (and other such sweet drinks like hazelnut lattes or whatever) there too! Cheaper than Tim’s, bigger portion sizes. They have coffee and tea too, but I’ve never tasted it. Oh yes, they have slushies too! Again, massive portion sizes, cheaper than Tim’s.

There’s also the added advantage that coop is a consumer coop, so it’s closer to market socialism than the other options ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

The presence of the minions itself. When it is known that:

• people roll their eyes at memes involving them, especially here.
• they generally add nothing to the meme
• used by boomers a lot on Facebook

Market demand. They get built because the capitalists think that people want them to be built. If people don’t want them to be built, they would go out of business and shut down.

But to answer your question, my city is sprawling and growing vertically at the same time. For the new neighborhoods, yeah, gas stations, bank branches and other such businesses do get constructed in the central commercially zoned part.

Lmfao telling it to “not act like AI” in the beginning works for me. I like to tell it to “be as efficient as possible with the word count” to prevent most of the bs. Works decent enough for my purposes.

The university I graduated from: “University of the People”.

It’s an online uni in Pasadena, California. They’re regionally and nationally accredited. From an accreditation standpoint, they’re at par with other unis, so you won’t have to worry about that. Super affordable. Plus, they’re not a for profit thing, so that’s cool too.

There are a couple of drawbacks though. They won’t place you anywhere. I don’t know how the placement for other unis works, but it is quite non existent for UoPeople. The other drawbacks are again all of those that online education has in general.
