Gattaca. It’s just such a well made film.

It was more literal than that IIRC. The gods were pissed at first but chilled out once the smells of the mortals cooking meat went up to Olympus. The only guy to suffer was poor Prometheus; condemned to have his liver eaten by an eagle as he remains chained to a mountain side.
Their shit films are doing poorly at the box office. It must be due to piracy!
I don’t have a thermocouple to slide into the freezer but I can confidently say water and even broth (which should have a freezing point depression due to the added salt) stays frozen no matter what temperature setting I pick and the time of day. It’s very likely then that it stays below 0 degrees C.
Please see the post. Tillamook, Dryer’s, and Target’s in-house brand.
Experimenting with the freezer’s settings didn’t cause too much of a change with the ice cream’s texture. Max and minimum temperatures had pretty much no impact. I’ve even opened the tub right after purchasing and it still had the same issue. If the store’s freezers couldn’t keep it somewhat solid, then I can only assume it’s deliberately been made this way now.
Got laid off four times when I was a temp worker for all of them. First time was when a major customer had a downturn in the oil market and I was the obvious choice by being one of the latest hires. I was brought in for a 15 minute meeting in the only conference room of the office and perp walked out by my asshole manager that same hour.
The other three were due to the contracts timing out (CA law forces companies to either convert contract workers to FTE after 2 years or lay them off). It’s a lot less shocking when you know the date but it still sucks to count down the time. It didn’t hurt to leave so much considering temp workers were treated as second class citizens like being excluded from company parties or not receiving bonuses so it was hard to get attached.
Thanks for the tip! Gonna have to try it out one day. My problem is I have to go work in places with very spotty service without WiFi so it helps to just have everything on board.
Samsung. Before I get dunked on let me explain. The Galaxy XCover 6 Pro is an industrial phone so it lacks a bunch of the standard bloat that comes with consumer grade equipment. It comes with 128GB onboard memory, 6GB RAM, SIM card slot, SD card slot, headphone jack, and even a removable battery! It definitely meets my need to carry around almost a TB of music and videos without needing to resort to streaming services.
The Super Mario Bros /Duck Hunt cartridge.
Some guy wearing a large hoodie got on the piss-soaked train right before the doors closed. As he was walking down the aisle he stopped right in front of me, pulled out a Taser, and lit it up right by my face. Right after he opened up his hoodie like the RE 4 merchant and showed a collection of batteries, tasers, Bluetooth speakers and all sorts of other junk. He was the world’s shittiest salesman.
The best way to do it is to try reading an article and stop at every kanji you don’t know to look it up. It’s a slow process but the struggle’s what makes it easier to remember. Maybe try it with manga first as the panels help give context to what’s being said and the shounen stuff has hiragana above the kanji to help look it up.
Fluent in English.
Español es mi primer idioma.
日本語は少しだけ話せます。漢字のお陰で、読むの事はまだ難しいと思ます。
Thought Slime is pretty okay. Green flag from me.
Bad analogy. Vinegar and oil make a tasty vinaigrette but I get your point.
Headphone jacks and BNC connectors for computing. For hammering things, a rock sometimes.
I hope blinding everyone behind him with all that smoke was worth it. What an asshole.
That sounds an awful lot like modifying an ESP32 script I’ve been trying to follow from a YouTube tutorial published a while back. Research hasn’t uncovered anything for me to troubleshoot the issue so it’s a really shit experience.
The last panel looks like it’s embarrassment rather than eroticism. Kinda reminds me of all the stuff ER doctors fish out of people’s rectums.
