It’s had me thinking a lot about the tolerance paradox. Where exactly is the line? How should it be handled? Will we get better without violence? Is violence necessary to fight back against dangerous ideas? Who should be the ones holding the line against dangerous ideas? What could we have done differently to ensure we didn’t get here? Will we make any changes or learn anything from this? What duty do we have to protect the marginalized communities that this kind of speech affects?

I’ve certainly drawn some conclusions of my own pondering this, but I still have plenty of unanswered questions.

Personally, I agree with your mindset, but I’m pretty handy with fixing/maintaining my own vehicles. For someone needing something to reliably get back and forth to work/school/daycare, I understand why people don’t go this route. 1. If you’re buying toys at Spencer’s, you’re probably not after super high quality/expensive toys.

Mine is an NA, '95. I really dig the popup headlights. 1995 was a good year IMO. First year with the bigger 1.8, and still had OBD1.

I still interact with TikTok links family and friends send me, and I fucking despise that. Close the “use the app” overlay, punch in the “I’m not a robot” code, turn on the volume (since when is muted the default video state, outside of porn?), and then loathe the fact that I just missed 60 percent of a glorified gif that I can’t rewind, and won’t repeat without pushing the app on me.

Nope, I’ve seen enough of their business practices and intent just from that interaction. It leaves me with no desire to sign up.
