Yeah, that’s shitty too.
They’re not evil, they’re not idiots.
No, they’re both. They know they’re spreading hate, and they find it funny.
I feel as if boycotting this election is the moral high ground and it’s fucking rude that people keep telling me it’s equal to voting for Trump
It’s fucking rude that you’re prioritizing a fake moral high ground over the lives of the people who will suffer and die under the fascist GOP.
You wouldn’t be the first:
For me personally, it was easier to just write a few python scripts to parse the CSV files from my banks.
I switched over to this last month, and I’m already a fan of it. It did take a bit of time to port over my old shtitty excel tracking, and to write a few python scripts to parse the export CSV files from each of my bank accounts, but it is very clearly worth it.
One of the nice things is that it uses a SQLite db to store everything, so if shit ever hits the fan with one of my drives or the software, it isn’t the end of the world.
You can self host it so you can access it over the web, or you can choose to run it entirely locally. It’s pretty nifty, and I’ve elected to using it for the second option.
I’m not sure of the volume of that system, how to get it. But I wonder if man made strip mines like these would compare:
They go on for miles, are huge, and theoretically could go on for basically forever.
Like, you know he’s not personally involved in the design or manufacture of these things right
Not everybody does. I’ve seen some threads, mostly on insta, where people were fallomg over themselves to get on their fucking knees to slob on Elon’s nob. I get that the average insta user isn’t the brightest, but people like that do exist.
And it leaves a bad taste in my mouth, because there is a chance that the hard work of the engineers, laborers, and Shotwell will be used for Elon’s fame throughout history.
So yeah, fuck Elon. The tech is cool as fuck though.
You’ll run into security and stability problems if you put it off for too long.
This is exactly the thing I’ve been looking for. It saves everything as a sqlite db, and has csv export options. So you’re not fucked over if you need to switch to something else. It’s compatible for linux/windows.
And the import options seem pretty good too.
Congrats, you’ve made me spend the whole day switching everything over to that lol.
The only real issue is that one of my banks deals with more than one type of currency. So I’ve had to write a custom script to handle that. But all in all, this is a massive upgrade for me. Thank you for this recommendation.
If we don’t test for hurricanes, the problem will go away. Don’t look up.
Not at all, it’s just what I’m personally familiar with.
A dual USB C/USB A drive is always nice.
It makes transferring files from phone to phone or from phone to PC significantly nicer.
Shoutout to LocalSend if a purely software approach is applicable. Fills the same role very nicely, and is free.
Nobody said anything about that.
Sure, but would it be possible to artificially simulate a daylight cycle indoors, opposite of the outside one?
Sure, you wouldn’t be able to go outside very much, but you’d at least have your active hours in the coolest part of the day.
Add in a bit of of CRISPR to smooth out the rough edges, would it be enough then?
When everything’s a logic block, nothing will be

I just started watching the series and I’m in season 2. I’m loving it so far, and couldn’t agree more.
