Came here to say:
Probably cost $25k over the years. I’m extremely grateful our pet insurance covered 80-90% of that.
Dude just turned 10 and he’s healthy and happy enough to start treating his arthritis.
You couldn’t be more wrong.
All my teacher friends wind up working 10 hour days on average.
They work during breaks.
They work during summer.
Good teachers don’t just show up for classroom time then disappear.
Teaching.
College degree mandatory, graduate degree preferred.
Yearly continuing education costs.
Out of pocket expenses for classroom materials.
Sometimes providing food for kids who don’t have it.
Famously low salaries and very long hours.
But what about that makes it “men’s” shampoo, chemically? Do women never need to wash grease out of their hair?
I understand you’re point. I’m just reiterating that the formula is needlessly gendered. “Shampoo for hard water and heavy duty cleaning” just doesn’t sell in our version of socialized society I guess.
What does that mean, exactly though? Will it make a man sick if he uses it? Or is it just a way for a company to appeal to a certain customer who believes men and women are too different to enjoy similar things?
“products for men” are made up nonsense from companies who are trying to profit off of people’s insecurities.
We have been deeply conditioned as American consumers, but I’m sick of it! Fuck marketing. Fuck gender roles.
Reject marketing. Reject gender roles. Reject artificial constructs that only serve to oppress and control you.
Easier said than done, but seriously fuck marketing.
There’s no laws preventing you from using what you perceive as women’s hair care products.
Most people can’t afford new cars, let alone new cars priced way above average.
Water, electricity, or both?
ACAB
I paid 26k for 8.4kw three years ago from A&R solar in Seattle.
So far so good 3 episodes in.
The look and feel of the world is great.
The characters are pretty believable.
Writing is good so far.
This is confusing. Is it supposed to be horrifying? Funny? I’m uncomfortable.
I strongly disagree with the people who say pet insurance is prohibitively expensive.
We pay around 120 per month for both of our cats and it has paid for itself several times over. When we had 4 cats, it was under $200 per month.
One emergency surgery can be over $5,000.
Dental issues can be extremely costly.
We had a cat with chronic allergies. Insurance covered his ongoing immunotherapy treatments which were over $100 per month.
We had a cat with cancer who had over $10k in treatments and surgeries covered in less than a year.
I strongly, strongly recommend you get quotes from a couple reputable providers. We have been very happy with trupanion.
Then, call your vet and ask how much surgery for an abscess, tooth extraction, cancer treatment, or broken leg is. Then ask how much an ultrasound is.
We have saved thousands of dollars over the years with pet insurance.
You brought receipts. Impressive lol.
10 years ago, I started dating a girl and her cat licked my hair. We got married and have lots of cats together.
I have both a dog and a backyard. Walking is far more interesting and stimulating for him than letting him run around in the back.
You can get very good stereo speakers and a quality amp for a few hundred bucks.
The idea that you need to spend thousands is a myth. It’s more about form factor than specs. Sound bars suck. Full range woofers don’t.
