You shouldn’t get a ticket for not wearing a seatbelt.
Peach, plum, cherry, apricot, pluot… and it goes on extensively. There are lots of different stonefruits out there all with very different flavors.
Tangentially related there’s an artist that has been trying to make a tree with the most diverse number of storefruit producing branches grafted onto it.
It won’t solve everything but exercise and eating right can go a long way to ensure you’re not antagonizing what I am assuming is your clinical depression that I suspect is what you are in treatment for.
The dealing with “everything” -you could try to find what specific issues are most important to you. Find out what you can do about them locally and participate in doing that perhaps through volunteering or otherwise. -That’s what I try to do. Volunteering keeps my mind occupied and engaged in a healthier manner than doom-scrolling. It also makes me feel like I’m contributing to a solution (limited though it may be.) It’s also good to figure out and try to accept that which may be beyond your control, but I don’t want to overstep.
It’s a National tradition!
-Not a good one, mind you.
In my 36yr life it isn’t any greater or lesser of a concern than it has been before, though I’m quick to think of the euphamism-treadmill as being constantly turning.
—To me It seems like sexuality is easy-pickings for politicians that don’t want to write legislation that benefits the lower-classes. It’s a big part of the “circuses” metaphor in the phrase “bread and circuses.”
I can pick out Italy, France, Portugal, Spain. Is it that country with ancient world history dating all the way back to classical antiquity? -you know, uh Atlantis?
LiGNUx, VLC, Firefox w/Ublock, KDE Connect, Dolphin, Kate, KDE. Vim, i3wm, Keepasses, yt-dlp, deluge, freecad, librecad, slic3r/cura. Some of these are clearly redundant or overlap. My use cases vary
Non-foss: Steam library.
I wouldn’t spend so much time on the PC if I had to pay a premium for every little thing much like I’ve experienced with my arts-related hobbies.
Businesses have more money than individual citizens. You will get what you want from the U.S. government and local government when we get money out of politics -Full-stop.
Huh… I- never considered this question.
My contacts list has been growing for 21 years. Very few people have caused me so much distress that I’d found removing them from my contacts to be worthwhile. I only found out about some of my friends deaths fairly recently.
On reflection, as I currently look through my contacts list I think removing the friends that have since passed would cause me more distress than leaving them in there. I won’t be calling them.

I act local, think global. I also accept that it’s largely beyond my control, so there is no point in being that upset about it. It’s not like I will be having kids to worry about in the future, either.
I had a counselor once tell me that “motivation typically comes from doing.” I guess most people say “motivation” when they mean “inspiration”
So what does “getting motivated in the morning” mean to you? What does that look like?
To me It looks like a nightly routine of positive self-talk while visualizing myself getting up the next morning to carry out my planned agenda as I first close my eyes. ‐I have more success at getting out of bed when I have already established a firm idea of what I’m getting up for.
Whoa, toxic post much. I didn’t downvote you, I’ll show you buy giving you a second downvote on your initial post instead of this one as a demonstration.
It’s not so bad, they were in there 50’s-60’s, my grandmother was a shut-in and they had multiple grand-kids born throughout the 80’s
The aspartame is a big part of Fresca’s flavor.
Sunkist orange soda or my preference, Barqs root beer. Both have a very limited amount of caffeine to impact the flavor. “Barqs has bite” because it has a tiny amount of caffeine. Caffeine has an apparently bitter taste.
I’d guess It’s a blur between ExciteBike & Donkey Kong on My grandparents NES or Triple Action on my parents Intellivision II
Knowing I’m dying as I actively die is probably my greatest fear. -Not everyone gets to be as lucky as those people on the OceanGate sub. -They really had to shove their privilege in our faces. -I say good riddance to bad rubbish!
