Since Wednesday I’m rifle-curious and ammo-curious so I must be getting by-curious.

Ever been a manager of a store? I have. I did six years as general manager of a Papa John’s. It was fucking terrible but I learned people skills while absolutely losing my mind in rage almost every day at the stupidity of the average customer and employee. This was an extremely high volume store. It was franchise though so maybe managers at a store owned directly by the corporation have more say. I had fucking zero say, just follow orders.

You really think the managers of that particular store made that decision? I mean, it’s possible, but it’s unlikely you’re going to make a difference making a retail manager’s shit day worse.

So this class was called Playing Shakespeare and I put it on my schedule because I’d never had a drama class and I had fulfilled all my high school shit early plus a few college credit classes. It wasn’t drama at all. It was based on a board game called Playing Shakespeare. We never played the board game at any time all semester. I did learn a few things. The class was mostly made up of jocks and rich girls because they knew it would be an easy A.

I live 5 minutes from a shitty one. I appreciate the convenience. I wish they paid their employees more.

Oh and it’s in a “bad” neighborhood. So they pay a fat tall guy to stand there with a gun on his hip. Goddamned hilarious.

I loved going to markets in Costa Rica. Not only is everything cheap and fresh, but there are multiple cops with shotguns and AKs. I would definitely steal from my local Kroger first.

How do you get between them without a boat?

I used to be good friends with one of the guys who did the anti smoking ads. Do you remember “Why do they put all this crap in dip?” That guy. I met him at a huge college party, outside, smoking a cigarette. I was like holy shit you’re a fucking hypocrite, how does that feel? And we were friends for years after.

It’s not the nicotine. I swear. I can vape 0% nicotine and it’s the same as nicotine vapes. It gives me about a quarter of the comfort and anxiety reduction of a cigarette. Addiction to cigarettes is about the ritual and the motions of smoking. Nicotine is overplayed.
