“Can’t live without” is an overstatement, but here are mine:

• Kvaesitso, search focused android launcher. I used to really like nova launcher’s local search and navigated my phone mostly using that. But once gensture navigation became a thing I had to stop using nova and replicate the experience in Samsung launcher with various local search apps that were lacking in comparison. Tried to go back a couple times once gestures with 3rd party launchers got better but found my old setup still too ugly and sluggish to go back to. Recently I randomly came across Kvaesitso on fdroid and it was everything I ever wanted out of a launcher.

• Amberol music player. Not the ideal music player I’d like but at least it’s not Elisa.

• Kid3, audio file tag editor. It has much better workflow/automation than mp3tag that I used in windows, and it seems if you spend some effort on it you could add more automation to make it even better.

Edit: it seems most popular shows don’t count towards download but do count towards uploads and that’s how they expect you to maintain ratio

I have a liquid repellent but it doesn’t work well. Feels like 1) by the time the mosquitos are in its range they’re already inside and can’t figure out how to go back out so they hide in other rooms 2) some mosquitos don’t care at all and keep harassing either way

Screens are rare and the house is rented. Mosquitos and the occasional moth are the only wildlife that come in through the window

It’s pretty common for programs to add firewall rules for themselves during setup. If you rely on manually blocking them after the fact they could have called back home already

Or a firewall that doesn’t rely on windows firewall, since programs will just whitelist themselves from it during installation

Perhaps the wave function always collapses no matter what, but the way it collapses changes? If there was no screen for the photons to interact with they’d continue to act like waves but since there’s a screen they collapse at some point on it dictated by the wave. And if you try to observe how they end up there you end up collapsing it earlier so where they go are dictated by the earlier state of the wave.

I highly doubt it actually works if you didn’t install the vulkan layer. Does the sdr brightness slider have an effect on the game?

You didn’t need to install the vulkan layer and use gamescope?

Edit: if you use gamescope, do you have Nvidia?

Monitor doesn’t have abl. I booted windows to analyse the files and they are dimmer in general than I’d hoped for. See the edit of the post

For games I was trying to launch steam in gamescope but launching just the game didn’t work neither, so I guess that’s nvidia
