I hate these bots, all they do is spam the platform with garbage. There’s a couple RSS bots that just repost news pages to a bunch of communities. What’s the point? If I wanted an RSS feed of a news site I’d just… subscribe to their RSS feed.
These bot accounts seem to have popped up recently.
Edit: I thought the point of a content aggregation platform was to see a human-curated selection of content ffs
Because growth is required for shareholders to keep funding the company. Shareholders don’t care whether a companies product is “finished”, they need growth. This is the case for public companies anyways, a lot of smaller private companies also try to grow, but they try to do so within reasonable limits, because they aren’t pressured by investors. As long as the company stays afloat, the growth rate doesn’t matter
What in gods name even is this product?
TIL all the wheelbarrows on construction sites are actually completely useless and they should just use donkeys instead
Why spend 30 seconds manually editing some text when you can spend 30 minutes clobbering together a pipeline involving awk, sed and jq

C++ devs would literally do anything before using Rust
While we’re on the topic; any decent smart watches out there that
- aren’t made by apple
- don’t harvest my data
- don’t stream everything I do straight to china
? I like the concept of a smart watch, but I haven’t really looked into the ecosystem. Preferably one that just integrates nicely with any android phone
if you want to know how well ICEs can perform with a functional rail network, look to Spain’s renfe. It’s built by Siemens and basically an ICE with a purple strip.
what does that have to do with anything in this thread
what an odd thing to have your mind wander to upon seeing a comic about bald people
