Damn, the rest of the world really looks at the USA as an example of how not to behave.

They are so socially divided and instead of working together despite the circumstances, families and friends break up because of a vote and people wish death upon each other. Kudos to you to serve as a negative example so others can do better to not end up in a cesspool of blinded polarization and hate, eliminating any chances of actually realizing that you are the same people ought to support each other no matter of what you voted. Your current social downfall will really go down in history books.

Not only has it personal and collector value, you actually own it in contrast to the digital age where everything can be taken away by the host service even if you payed for it before. And no, “you only bought the license to stream it not the media content” is only legal rubbish these companies spout to justify the morally questionable bs they push to be the norm.

No, it still doesn’t. This has been an issue for me since I started using lemmy during the reddit drama. I initially thought it would be due to the influx of new users and all the issues that came with it or a problem with the app that would be ironed out later. But it’s unfortunately still the same after months. Thanks for the links though. I never had any idea that lemmy.world defederated that many instances.
