As if removing it wouldn’t be an improvement. MBFC themselves admit it’s nothing more than pseudoscience. The fact anyone actually takes it seriously is laughable, especially considering some of the sources they consider “highly factual”

Some people really don’t think before they speak do they
Of course, which is why I said within reason. As long as you’re making an effort to make your diet varied, I find trying to religiously track macros tends to be fairly counterproductive for most people, as it makes the whole process far more of a pain in the ass.
shrimp and tilapia are fairly cheap
This varies hugely based on location, primarily distance from the ocean. Pound for pound, beef and pork are far cheaper than basically any seafood in my region.
As long as calories in < calories out, the source of those calories matter much less (within reason). You could lose weight eating nothing but oreos and hostess snack cakes as long as calories in < calories out. Not great for you for obvious reasons, not least of which vitamin deficiencies, but you’d lose weight.
And for those of you who are in a similar situation as me, where your presidential vote for the most part doesn’t matter (Trump’s going to win by a minimum of 15 points in my state), your votes on down ballot issues do matter.
Local and state elections are where change starts. So get out there and vote, even if it’s mostly doing harm reduction.
Something like that, yeah. Didn’t personally have an actual practical use for it, but it was certainly a nice thing to have.
Samsung phones used to be able to measure heart rate along with blood oxygenation. Not sure when they stopped, but I know one of my old galaxy’s had it, either the 5 or 8.
It somehow clips with a texture under the floors that nobody knows why it’s there, all they know is the game doesn’t work if they remove the texture. Something like that, probably.
Ignorance is nothing to be ashamed of, willful ignorance is.
I am all for space VP
I’d also like to make a point that it seems a lot of people with AWD in my area miss.
If the road is solid ice, not snow, AWD isn’t going to help you much at all.
Because asking nicely stopped fascism the first time
Oh trust me, if It was drivable, I would’ve kept it.
Unfortunately a younger, much more sleep deprived me flipped it one morning.
Loved that damn car
We did routine oil changes between 5-6k miles until it started burning oil. I assure you, that was not the issue. We spent a while trying to figure it out before saying fuck it because it never gave us issues.
Had an old accord that started burning oil at about 100k miles. Lasted another 100k with only a handful of oil changes (I think none in it’s last 50k, just topping it off as needed). Still worked perfectly fine besides very slowly burning oil when I totaled it at 200k miles.
I miss that car. I’m convinced I could’ve gotten at least 300k miles out of it.
Plus at least part of the walls will be exposed to the ground, not the air, and since past the first layer the ground stays consistently relatively cool, that helps a lot.
Ding ding ding. Anyone who claims to love this country but thinks this should be illegal is outright lying, and they can go fuck themselves. This is one of our most fundamental rights.
True… However it does appear to be slowing a bit for both the US and Canada
And until the relationship between cost of living and wages reverses, not just slows down, we’re simply talking about things getting worse less quickly, not getting better
There is far less poverty in the world today than in the past.
Generally true, and this is largely from developing nations starting to have a growing middle class. Unfortunately, all signs point towards that middle class inevitably being consumed by the owner class, as we have watched and are watching the tail end of in the west.
Not sure what that has to do with the famines being caused by climate change though, especially as they are rapidly getting worse. Look at what’s happening currently in Madagascar. This is at a global temperature increase well below where we thought these things would start happening. That’s not even considering that all this is happening while Europe’s biggest breadbasket is currently the home of the 2nd worst war since WW2.
Probably true, but we also appear to be on the edge of a massive move away from fossil fuels to renewables with the cost of solar dropping, grid level battery systems replacing old coal / natural gas peaker plants etc and the move is no longer just about the “environment” these technologies are in some ways superior or cheaper as well which will accelerate adoption
While true, we are still accelerating our carbon production. Like the CoL/Wage thing, unless we see an outright drastic reversal, we are simply talking about things getting worse less quickly, not getting better. This isn’t an issue we can simply continue saying “oh science will just figure it out” on. We’ve been saying that since at least the 60s. Unless we get sweeping, drastic action from multiple large governments, and we get it very soon, nothing is going to change.
That’s also assuming we are actually “on the edge of a massive move away from fossil fuels to renewables”. We’ve been “on the edge” of that for seemingly forever now.
None of this even touches on the overt slide towards far right authoritarianism half the world seems to have taken.
Look, I legitimately try my best to stay optimistic about the future, but it is ridiculously naive to say the future looks brighter today than at the turn of the millennium.
This is the main reason that I’ll never understand it. It takes so, so, so much energy to be that hateful. Do they have literally nothing in their lives that they could be devoting that energy to. Like get a fucking hobby, holy shit.
