There was a week when it was both the cheapest and best performing mainboard you could buy.
I made a serious effort to switch to Wayland, which involved ~3000 lines of code to hammer the experiences I like in fvwm3 into labwc and it still feels imperfect (X11 has too many clipboards, but Wayland has too few)
There are some minor more-smooth experiences (games don’t microstutter when I change audio tracks) but the steak isn’t really worth the sizzle.

Use a shared external source of randomness, like one of the shortwave “numbers stations”, to seed an agreed upon algorithm that simulates shuffling a deck and dispensing the cards. You’re running the same code on the same data, so you could show the cards you had seen after each hand to confirm everyone is in sync.

I hate that Qt6 dropped the Motif theme. You can get a Kvantum theme that’s vaguely close, but it’s different enough that you can tell the difference (the old one had deeper bevels) and I tend to prioritize Qt5 if I can use it.
I have a 7900X3D and the Peerless Assassin 120 worked well. I swapped for a Zalman CNPS20X because you could get it for next to nothing at the time; it’s not much better (the RGB fans look neat but it’s so big it doesn’t fit well in some cases and the fans are prone to chattering noises at specific speeds)
The benefit I can imagine for an AIO is that it reduces cramping around the CPU, so you can essily release RAM or the GPU slot clip. But I suspect VRM cooling suffers; some vendors made an add-on fan to compensare IIRC.
