I’m not a lawyer but I’m not sure how liable you’d be. People run bots all the time. Plus, this is all about numbers. You can’t sue thousands of people like that.
Ooh, that’s nice. Now change “omnivorous” to “targeted” and things get interesting.
Thanks, friend!
I was just wondering about a general privacy goal of having an LLM bot just flood the zone with random data to try and confound advertising models, simulating clicks and likes/engagement across the spectrum just to wreck any meaningful data correlations.
If you were aiming this concept at two specific targets, i.e., costing the Trump campaign money and screwing with their data, things could get really interesting. Like an open source bot that would coordinate bizarre trends across large cohorts of users to convince the data miners that, for example, a disproportionate number of voters in key regions are demographically or behaviorally skewed.

Look, I think it’s important to state here that while you can often offer prompts to strangers with no ill effect, 7% of strangers are DEATHLY ALLERGIC to prompts. I know it’s fun to give your strangers prompts sometimes, but I urge you all NOT to give prompts to strangers or you run the very real risk of harming them seriously.

Yup! Lost the house but I’m batting 1.000 for dishwasher problem solving.
Never interrupt your enemy in the middle of a mistake.
My dishwasher started leaking so I lit it on fire.
That thing you see in cartoons where they stop sneezes by putting a finger under the nose? Never seemed to work for me at first, but it turns out, it does work - you just have to push up against your septum, hard. It can at least diminish the urge slightly and maybe help you delay the sneeze so you can time it more conveniently.
“Why did you just put rice in your underwear, babe?”
“Oh, for fuck sake.”
“Greens” refers to the leafy part. You can also get turnip greens, mustard greens, dandelion greens, etc.
Let me know if you try it! I’m pretty excited. I’m setting Retropie to boot straight into a selection of arcade games on MAME so you’ll just plug in power, plug in HDMI to whatever TV, press the button, and after ~2 minutes of boot, you can fire up Golden Axe or Darkstalkers.
In case I forget, I can give you the gist (all the extension cords are internal just to get the jacks exposed outside the case):
Main hardware:
Power:
Video:
Control (waiting for these to arrive):
Basically that particular fight stick opens very neatly and includes a decent amount of open space where the Pi Zero can fit along with a big (~7x120mm) slot out the front that the cable goes out. Once I get all the right cables run, it should be easy peasy. The 3D printed part is mostly to keep it from just having three little cable jacks hanging loose out the front, but if you’re not a neat freak, you can get it done with 2-3 online orders and an afternoon.
This right here. I’m getting more and more disillusioned with my consoles, more into indies, and way into retro. I’m currently working on a self-contained arcade stick with a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W in it that will have USB and HDMI on the outside so I can teach my 12-year-old stepson what it’s like to get his ass beaten in Street Fighter II.
I also got us a Retron 3 HD and I regularly scour the local retro shops for good NES/SNES/Genesis games. He’s currently obsessed with Dragon Warrior 1.
Deathrow was a super fun dystopian future sport game on the original Xbox. Kind of ultimate frisbee meets NBA Jam with a dash of Manhunt.
I saw it when I was in my early twenties and I’d never seen it before. But tons of pop culture had made jokes of everything in the movie and I expected it to just be a laugh.
The film did such a good job developing dread and helplessness that I forgot all about the jokes.
Plus the spider walk scene hits you in the face like a hatchet.
I think you and I share a fondness for the lightweight spook-house style like Conjuring, Smile, etc. Just in it for the freaky.

Enshittification. Once you learn it, you see it everywhere. It’s depressing.
