They’ll have free soil sample kits, articles and programs/classes for local agriculture, etc etc.
Anything else will be pirated, shitty ad filled ai knockoff apps, or finding a forum of like minded individuals you can ask. There are plenty of resources out there but a “one stop shop” I haven’t found. The problem stems probably from location, information is vast and mostly irrelevant if you’re not in the same growing zones. The local co-ops will have individuals, employees, and articles posted up, they’re really helpful when it comes to reaching out to them in my experience.

Got way into it when I was younger, got them as soon as new ones came out but after re-reading the first like 10 books multiple times and the repetitive descriptions, the long journey just killed it for me before it got more wrapped up in the later books. Still love it when I go to try and reread it, just get flustered out around book 7. Would love to just be able to do the entire run now with that same enthusiasm I had before, like finding a great show with lots of seasons to binge.
maybe it would look like a reverse snowfall underwater if the ice is buoyant? I imagine if the ice stayed at the bottom it would be interesting evolution wise since most things survive the cold by being at the bottom.
ok so we are to the crux of the argument, “What is a Downvote?” I believe that the “downvote” is being abused as the lowest form of comment disagreement. I don’t care to ponder on why someone clicks to disagree with absolutely no other input. I would rather the scores be completely removed if this is a tinder style opinion based polling voting system. I strongly believe people using downvotes for disagreement harms honest expression more than a thought out comment someone can actually understand without guessing.
+1, really like it. So downvotes are for things that suck to a person? That’s where my confusion comes from, what are people using the downvote for that’s so prevalent it’s sacred and needs to be protected? A downvote is one level below a report for me basically, for content that’s gone off the rails or levels on breaking a rule (like harassment etc). I wouldn’t want reports to be anonymous so they’re not abused, just like downvotes. If we’re using the vote system for an opinion based algorithm I could understand why people want it private but that’s not it’s purpose.
You’re asking to engage and interact with a public space (voting is interacting) which defines and creates the tone with complete anonymity. That’s not how a conversation or public debate works and is only new to the internet. I think it’s been a negative (if we are suppose to view a downvote as only off-topic or spam). No spam bot would bother stalking you, anyone else would be outed with 2 clicks and can be blocked or probably better reported so they’re not stalking others on the platform who do comment with their username attached. This is outing the abusers, who would abuse regardless if it’s you or the OP.

I’m unsure with UK but I know the US it can cost a lot of money and basically has to be renewed every year meaning an annual cost (paid protection for the wealthy and all). Hopefully it’s different in other parts of the world, the police knowing though is an important thing just in case anything comes up in the future and you can show a timeline and history for evidence so definitely always have a discussion with the local authorities.
I feel like the first Ace Ventura tried to dance the line closer to an Action-Adventure/Detective-Comedy. The 2nd just leaned way into the comedy with the explosive popularity of Jim Carrey and it shows. Definitely don’t mind it, the 2nd is still my favorite but the first is also a solid movie.
