Look man, I wanna chill with some hard ciders and a little whiskey. You have problems, I’ll help you analyze them and find a solution. I want you to have a better childhood and adulthood than I did.

I meant by the television as it’s used to distract/occupy kids so the parents can just not parent. Not that it’s got the same issues as television, it’s just the replacement for keeping kids distracted so people can just not be parents to their crotch spawn.
The only people who think this country are great wear the veritable mark of the beast unironically.
Ahh, that’s a difference, I’m talking about the USA. They took out a lot of those classes for more of the core curriculum.
The schools in my area don’t offer it anymore or technical classes. It’s just the core subjects essentially. I’ll admit surprise to hearing a school still does in the past ten years.
I had a mom who was able to pass the basics of cooking down as well as home ec. classes. We’ve done a major disservice to the younger folks by not offering such classes honestly. Learning how to read recipes, basics of cooking, knowing when food is good to eat, etc. is a highly useful skill even now.

Even with socialism the use of currency is a useful tool for allowing people to acquire what they need then what they want. Capitalism as we know it now and how it has been needs to fall but that doesn’t mean there isn’t some usefulness to be gained from it. And there will be a huge transition period as well that will likely take a couple generations to then start rotating away from capital being desirable.

The answer is that we shouldn’t have most social media to begin with and parents need to actually fucking parent their kid’s usage. Social media is just the television replacement.

They ran but did not support him. With the links I provided, they also had PACs fund Cuomo who was really running as a spoiler candidate.

One: Not endorsing him at all. https://newrepublic.com/article/200091/democrats-refuse-endorse-zohran-mamdani-scary-message
Two: They didn’t pressure Cuomo to back out. In fact some endorsed him. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/elections/democrats-called-andrew-cuomo-resign-2021-are-endorsing-2025-rcna211441
Three: The lack of support, and they actively funded Cuomo as well. https://www.cnbc.com/2025/10/30/mamdani-cuomo-nyc-mayor-bid-billionaire-spending.html
They didn’t want Madami to win for whatever reason and were fine with Cuomo essentially trying to split the vote which may have resulted in a Republican win.

There has been a surprisingly concerted effort for decades, especially within media, to conflate the two parties as opposites when they are not. The parties and their leadership seem fine with that as well.

Did you see all the shit they pulled with him to MAKE HIM LOSE? They would have a Republican win than an admitted socialist win.

I’d add most Democrats aren’t leftists, there’s some that have progressive ideologies just stuck in a shit system. Now the neo-liberal establishment, sure as fuck aint the left.

Thanks for this information, it’s yet more useful intel.

Neo-liberals aren’t the left. They like to pretend it while giving the actual left the proverbial middle finger.

But you can bet when they lose they’ll blame everyone else in the room but themselves. I don’t think the neo-liberals of the party realize how much bad blood they’ve been generating.

This is the typical neo-liberal, you can’t actually argue with them just like a MAGAt.

Because there’s no way to run independent in the USA with first past the poll. Though Bernie is independent, he caucuses with the Democrats and when he looked to be winning the primary they pulled the rug out from under him and you neo-liberals have been walking around like the proverbial pigeon on the chess board.
