Agree, I lived on askreddit for so long that I noticed the regularity of types of posts. Towards the end of the open API days it was quite obvious that the forum was more machine than man, all twisted and evil.

[ISO-8601 MAN SWOOPS IN FROM THE SKY]
You are close, work on your punctuation, see me after class
[Dramatic super hero exit]
HISSSSSS.
switch the slashes to dashes
[Angry ISO-8601 noises]
Yes as well (Also insane) but its universally ledgable, sorts on computers easier, accomodates timezones and sub-second units. ISO-8601 should be the universal standard, and anyone who says otherwise better show up with a white paper explaining why. None of this dumb american format or javascript web form bullshit, language is about specificity, BE SPECIFIC. Unless you want to go off the rails and talk about relativity, time dialation and reference points… But thats all above my pay grade. ISO-8601 is a golden example of “good enough for normal people”. Thank you for coming to my TEDtalk.

I still run my Ender3, upgrading to a Prusa core one+.
The first question everyone needs to ask about 3d printing is if you want the printer itself to be the project.

Ive heard Fix Or Repair Daily

In-&-Out
It is still a crappy cheeseburger, but its the way a crappy cheeseburger is supposed to be. Cheap, fast and produced by a kitchen that is a shining example of fast food.
In a day when the big three (golden arches, BK, and Wendys) have mostly priced themselves out of their own market. I make it a point to stop by every time im in a place that has one. The farthest one from California is just east of Nashville TN.
People, very nice, drivers… Massholes are very real, but did you ever notice how they rarely break things? Agressive, yes, but they also learned to drive in a place where the road itself is also an adversary.
[sad Boston noises] they only get to be on the list when one or more of their sports teams is doing well and everyone hates them for it.

The career path of being an online guild leader to meat space manager.
I used to manage player orgs in EvE Online… Its basicly a second job and the paralells are real. One of my former space nerds got a job and IIRC is actually a rental car lot manager, we taught him how to use spreadsheets well over 10 years ago so they could figure out how the games industry mechanics.
My third place needs this as a rule for Mel Brooks. Drop a spaceballs or men in tights line in that place and the entire shop stops and waits for people to finish the scene.

They exagurate, but I expect all these features come to pass eventually. Between the EUs driver monitoring mandate and BMWs subscription to use your heated seat coils. Its only a matter of time before the new bug is actually a bug.
2006 is the era when cars became complicated enough you needed more than basic wiring to repair them, for a car guy, that around where Ive seen them talk of the latest they would buy.
I would also say 2017 is also around a good time for non-car people who are good with tech. This is around the time when the cars computer would manage the radio, inputs and a backup camera. If you wanted GPS on the screen, your phone would have to handle it, the car would have no sim card.
Anything made after the plague, they are not far off for the level of tech and privacy concerns, just not all of these fratures are in a vehicle fresh from the dealers lot yet.

GOOSE!!!

Cool, if were going to set the standard. Then you should be able to recognize every symbol and what it represents between cultures, times and historical context.
The fact that you can’t identify them all is the point, and I dont expect you to, nor some dumb 20-something year old man with a public education and prospects to join the US millitary to do so either. No one is arguing against you, just pointing out that there is deeper context and a persons willingness to correct it in the future that should be weighed before the court of public opinion passes judgment.

Your response still lacks nuance, your not asking if they knew what the tattoo represented. Your drawing wide black&white judgments on, in this case, an entire demographic of largely dumb young men with an amarica-grade history education.
If they knew what it meant and to who, then you are correct, let society treat them as such.
Otherwise, you come off as having an inflexable mindset and dont believe people can make mistakes or change.

Welcome to the IT help desk, im here because you broke something.
And I cosplay as a sysadmin at home for fun. Would like to make the jump professionally, but being able to turn work off at home and not be on-call is too important.

CDs
Disk rot is a real issue, but I can make ISOs from them and back them up with my current hardware. Records are all fun and a better decor item, but if data preservation is the goal, I need to be able to make my own copies.
A public holiday to not be at work and some light programming. All I want is to watch some fancy pants band play 1812 with the canons and im happy. I dont care much for the holiday itself, its just a day to mark the calendar. Not getting to do any of that this year… Its dangerously hot, I am working and im not watching the PBS programming from Washington out of spite.
The east coast has some teeth, Mt. Washington will absolutely ruin your day.
