That’s a photo of my camera, made with the phone in regular auto mode, freehand. It was that bright.
(I wanted to get the message out to friends quickly.)
Next time I bring a 360 camera. 😆

Never saw this kind of aurora so far south. (northern Germany)
As a beginner I had only one lens (tamron 28-200) and a a7c so it was compact enough to fit in a hip bag from a motorcycle gear shop. Pretty comfy.
Now that I have multiple lenses I just tried a messenger bag and quickly get the neck pain. So I’m also thinking about a backpack and keeping the hip bag depending on the journey.
Lonely Otaku.
Is this one more to your liking?
Single spot focus is what I use. For this one, sadly, I couldn’t get both in focus. (f/32 is all my lens got)
I guess that calls for focus stacking but I haven’t looked into that yet.
Edit Oof, I over sharpened the bottom part. 😅 Shouldn’t edit stuff on the tablet in the car.

Hmm, I thought I’d find Waterfox mentioned but I didn’t. That one gets my recommendation.

Haven’t had trouble with Firefox for a long time. Sure, I also have chrome sitting somewhere on the hard drive as a backup but didn’t need to use it for months if not years. Started to use Waterfox on one pc and I’m happy with that one too.
Also the Grayjay app.
So… how thin does it air have to be? Does it only work on a mountain top? Are tastebuds affected by low air pressure?
Our dream (my SO and me) is to ride our motorcycles to Japan (from Central Europe). At this time the northern route is politically difficult. The southern route has always been difficult but would be the better option at this time, I think. We even discussed ideas of plans. She could take a half year off, for me it would be more difficult. But the funds would be the biggest issue. So plan B is to rent motorcycles for a week or two, next time we’re in Japan.

Missing status LED. I’d like to deactivate the always on screen feature.
"Now you all know…
Sounds like rich people are paying to get the ads removed.

The only thing is that both devices need to be in the same WiFi net. But it also works on the road when the laptop uses the phones Hotspot.
When I came home I saw my neighbour and asked him what he thought about the aurora.
Nb: What aurora?
That one over there.
Nb: Oh. I guess it’s too bright to see it, I guess…
No, that’s the aurora! 😂 Then I held up my camera and showed him the viewfinder.
