Sought help, and got a mental health diagnosis and some meds that I took for a while. 20 years later it’s clear that it was either a misdiagnosis of simple existential angst, or I figured shit out in the meantime. Paying 40% more for life insurance and need reports from the doctor I haven’t seen in 18 years each time I have to renew security clearance.
