My brain is more like “OK it’s bed time, let’s worry over and think about all the issues that have ever plagued us and how we feel about them.” My brain doesn’t turn off and it only seems to be more agitated once bed time comes around - and then I dream all night long. If I’m asleep, I’m dreaming constantly. And they are such vivid dreams, I don’t feel very rested in the morning but more like I’ve just gone through a harrowing ordeal. BUT - my dreams do help me come up with good story ideas.
…this might be why I like hiking and camping, now that I think about it.
