I have to get a prostate biopsy tmrw (Monday) and I had to stop my anxiety meds this past week because of it (they have blood thinning effects). I’m super anxious about the procedure even though they agreed to sedate me for it. They were going to do it with local only originally!
Wow that’s a big win convincing them to do sedation! The anxiety is understandable. I hope the process is easy for you and you get positive results.
Thank you! They didn’t even give me the option but when I messaged my urologist later he responded ‘oh sure one of the other urologists does them under sedation I’ll let them know’.
My PSA is that of a man 20 yrs older than me and an MRI showed a small suspicious spot, but no symptoms at all so I’m hoping it’s just a weird spot. I have them on my kidneys too and those are fine.
