This is why airplanes and trains are also stationary for most of the trip.
What if the underside of earth had stuff down there?
That’s where you get a lot of the real 🤯-tier pseudoscience and pseudohistory.
Dinosaurs and lizard people are down there. Nazis and Communists are down there. Mole people. Atlantis. The Garden of Eden. The sky is the limit.
???
Get some thicker skin, my guy. If you’re getting paid for the work, its going to be more than a hobby. Especially if you’re planning to work 50 separate gigs.
Ffs, if you can file taxes as a business, we’re well past the point of hobbying. That’s just a part time job

2·13 hours agoevery measurable metric except for Gdp and consumption which isn’t really a win at all.
So much of US GDP is tied up in the FIRE sector anyway. Housing is overinflated. Insurance is overinflated. Tech is crazy overinflated. It’s something of a joke to say the US is outrunning China when US businesses are touting triple-digit P/E ratios following decades of low-interest borrowing and bailouts.
And with all the consumer goods prices skyrocketing, you have to wonder how long American excess consumption can even last. $4-6/gal gas isn’t going to be any kinder to the US Automotive market today than it was during the Bush Admin.

3·13 hours agoYou know exactly why and how your tech was ‘stolen’.
I mean, was it even stolen? Most of the Operation Paperclip Nazis got cushy US jobs, extraordinary pay packages, and even seats on the boards of private contracting firms.
How many Nazi multi-millionaires were running around the NATO-block ten years into the Cold War? Allen Dulles loved these guys and took very good care of them.
At $100 per shoot she can pay off her camera in one year doing one shoot a week.
Assuming you don’t value your time, sure. Pro-photographers charge a lot more than that. Also, who wants to give up a year’s worth of weekends for a fancy camera?
Nobody cares what your camera costs
It’s certainly a curiosity. Like, what’s the value-add of a $5k camera relative to a cheaper model? What’s the step-up or step-down in price? What features are you prizing? What brand are you favoring? What are your clients looking for that someone else can’t necessarily bring with a cheaper device?
Whole books have been written about the industry, the technology around the industry, and the kinds of people who pursue it.
Charge what you think your service is worth and work for clients who pay it.
Finding clients who pay well is half the work of any freelance job.

Never undersell the possibility that this person is lying.
Or that this is a stock photo and the text is clickbait.

Ah, but are the nuts allowed to touch the ground? Cause I remember a whole patriot song about it.
Can someone explain to me why someone would wear crocs with the American flag?
They found a pair at Goodwill or some other discount site and cared more about saving a few bucks than looking stylish.

That’s why you don’t build a million of them.
I just finished the power leveling last night.
Huge mistake. Now all you have left to do is martyr yourself for the benefit of your nefarious ex-best friend’s political ambitions.
No. This is somewhere to be. This is all you have, but it’s still something. Streets and sodium lights. The sky, the world. You’re still alive.
Armored Core VI is a FromSoft game. Fortunately, not quite as bad as the Usury Simulator of prior editions. But I’m still ghost-in-a-shell working odd jobs in war zones to afford a new human body. So, I’m thinking I’m pretty deeply fucked.
Was going to say… It’s not rocket science
