Yes, and that makes things more confusing too. I found a specialist who tests adults for dual diagnosis and got diagnosed with both, but then I feel like I’m “doctor shopping” because other professionals don’t agree, yet they haven’t seemed open minded to new information beyond very dated stereotypes apparently.

Also annoying when different professionals have different opinions. Whether I’m autistic or not depends on who I ask.
