There’s a good chunk of us who used it with the web, and they’re adding that to the vast Google graveyard. That in and of itself makes me excited to see an alternative because Google will kill the app version on a whim too.

I’ve heard this too and it’s true, but also you don’t want to needlessly spend on things either. For example, a good bed is worth the cost, the saying holds up. However, if you buy the pro version of every tool you’ll go broke. You can instead buy the cheap one first, anything you use enough where it would break is then worth buying the expensive one

You have to decide where your ethics are. You’re right, they’ll keep making them. It doesn’t matter what others do, it’s what you choose to do that defines you. Are you okay with taking a single use plastic bag and letting it sit in the landfill for thousands of years (or in the ocean) so you can have the convenience of not carrying a fabric bag in? Are you okay with a minimum wage worker collecting your cart so you wouldn’t have to take the 20 seconds to push it into a corral?

These are questions you can’t ask the internet, it’s your personal morals. I know where my morals are. Everyone else can be who they are, but I am the only one who has to live with my decisions.

If you own your home, you can drastically reduce your carbon.

• installing solar to take energy off the grid
• install a heat pump to generate heat and cool off of electricity
  • even if your grid is pure coal, this is still more efficient than burning your own gas
  • you can keep a gas furnace as a backup, look up “dual-fuel” systems
• take transit whenever possible
• if you are in a car dependent area, look into e-bikes and EVs. Even replacing just your commuter car can have huge impacts, you don’t have to replace them all.

I honestly agree. The casting of the movies was perfect in my opinion. Mr and Mrs Weasley. Snape. Trewlawney, mcGonagle. Harry, Ron, Hermione. It was great casting up and down. They’re never going to get a cast like that again, so honestly who cares. That’s how I view this whole show. It’s just a cash grab, so who cares.
