His community donated $12k before Shaq got involved, so Shaq’s charity is just icing on the cake. These people don’t even read their own literature. The Catholic church’s ban on alchemy is about falsely claiming something is a valuable metal in order to pay for debts. What’s a situation where you need an unused variable? I’m onboard with go and goland being a bit aggressive with this type of thing, but I can’t think of the case where I need to be able to commit an unused variable.
Strong names are great, but (sometimes) mentioning the type of variable in the name is redundant.
