You hate doing math?
If I touch furniture, I also need to touch it with my other hand at least once
Wouldn’t it then still be weird, so “the lawsuit benefits from piracy”?
Calling communities subs is fine. It need not necessarily refer to reddit. Sub means under/secondary/part of.
Depends on the person. If you’re happy living in wonderland, theism is the way to go
I neeeed video of this.
I see, thanks. Now I must hope a legal-gray-area offline launcher supports mods, too.
You make it sound easy of installing the mods by just putting them in the mods folder. I hope it’s also as straightforward if I don’t have a GUI.
As I said in the post title (which I should make more clear), I want friends that don’t have a bought account to join my server that has online-mode=false. Is this possible? Or another way they can join without an account.
Maybe not, I think. If third party launchers are legal, and one of these supports offline playing, then it can be used for all online-mode=false servers. But this requires one initial login from a legitimate account. This means you have to give your password to whomever wants to join your server.
I see. EasyAuth seems a very nice idea. I’m not too acquainted with mc mods, however. I planned on researching how to host the Valkyrien Skies mod. Do you know if it’s possible and straightforward to have have these two mods work in unison? (I host the mc srv on Ubuntu Server 23.)
the fak…
Yea I just did that before posting. Joined with my legitimate copy on my offline mode srv. The inventories are indeed different, and/or they reset.
It’s np if some players have legitimate accounts. I want to allow both kinds. The loss of the skin is unfortunate with offline mode, though.
please do.
edit: before people misinterpret. The reason I’m posting now is because people misinterpreted my intent in previous discussions. In retrospect, this is most likely caused by the “style in which I phrased my comments”, which (apparently) resemble the style of trolls: trying to conceal malicious intent by asking dumb questions. This ended in a train wreck. So I wanted to start with a clean plate so people do not get the wrong idea.
Perhaps you’re hitting the nail on the head. My blood pressure is apparently normal (at least during the day). But perhaps it is indeed too high for me. It feels plausible but idk what that is worth. I’m going to ask my doctor to test this idea. Not sure yet which med for lowering blood pressure is good. I thought that Beta blockers were specifically for headache patients. Perhaps this is why… Also, apparently ACE inhibitors and ARBs are also blood pressure lowering agents. Any experience with those…?
I’ve been drinking a lot more water the last 5 years which lessened the headaches a little bit. But tbh, I think I drink enough water actually, hard to say exactly how much, but at least before bed (quite) a few glasses of water. During the day (when outdoors) I could probably drink more water, but my body fairly readily produces a lot of urine, or I just have a small bladder, but I’m more inclined to the former one. But waking up with a headache caused by dehydration is unlikely due to drinking the night before bed. I varied the amount of water, but had little effect, except needing to go to the bathroom 5 times before falling asleep. (Not that the water is holding me back from sleeping, but I usually read in bed 1-2 hours, so my kidneys start doing their thing. On that note, reading posture is also unlikely a cause since I only started reading recently (~few years).)
I sometimes do eat a lot of candy (and have throughout my life), but still, even with many months of abstaining from it, there was no difference in headaches. I did not ever take any glucose test. (I once almost did.)
The ADHD diagnosis and med are still relative recent things (~since start of 2024). I’m still experimenting with the meds, what their exact effects are on me, etc. I think they make my head a bit more calm, empty, relaxed, but idk yet, I’m skeptical and cynic of everything until I have tested it thoroughly. I’ve been on and off of the meds, actually… The psychiatrist said it was ok to do this. But whatever, they’re more here to help me study, rather then help me in life.
yes… what you describe is actually my main hypothesis regarding headache as well. Subconscious stress build-up, basically. But to make this problem probably unsolvable is that I’m even subconsciously stressed in the holidays. Even if I go live with my mother for a few months, not having to do ANYthing but relax, I think I am still not relaxed. Perhaps it’s not stress but I think it probably is. So I think I have to force relaxation somehow, because apparently I am unable to do so myself. Being tense does run in a family a bit. I’m just fucked.
Perhaps botox injection in the scalp can help. I know, it sounds perhaps crazy if you’re not familiar with it, but this is legit practice, the acid forces the tiny muscles around the scalp to temporarily relax. Just throwin’ it out there :S
I see! I thought about this as well. I was indeed also worrying whether this itself had any (unforeseeable) side-effects. Hmm, just a fancy amino acid? I hope this is indeed as innocent as it sounds.
good point, but I always thought this was not very uncommon actually, idk
can’t argue that!
