My work won’t let me take more than 37 hours a week.
I want to, but because of the union, they can’t let me. Instead, they call in extra help.
The cool thing is when they can get extra help and they need to ask me if I want. I get doubled up in my wage and sometimes a bonus just for taking the shift.
I won’t complain as I can also take a second part time job but for now it’s fine
YouTube in general taking over all answers on the web. I’d much rather just read the answer than have to go through a 10 min video.
But on that topic…
Can you explain?
The instructions I have so far, say Apple Pie and now I am confused.

I basically have stopped listening to what they or any religion has to say
That said, many priests here almost never talk about god. They mostly function as coaches. They can have any sexual orientation they want and may even not believe in god 🤷

Not stalking. I was just curious to see who accused me of being a bot, in that other community and in doing that, noticed your post.
If you just made a post, as bait for me to react on, or trigger me, then you’re doing your part in turning Lemmy into Reddit yourself 🤷
You posted this, right after commenting on this meme, in a meme community. Maybe people are getting too sensitive I don’t know, but memes are also used to make fun of stereotypes - not to be taken seriously or literally
And no… I am not a bot.
I succeed on almost all CAPTCHAs within 3 attempts

I think that this is the point of OP yes 👍
It’s not meant to be easy! It’s actually best when it’s challenging and thought provoking
Any criticism, or insult or demeaning action I get, I try to swallow my pride and check if it’s justified. It sometimes is! If it’s not, I let it slide and try to keep on.
That said, tone and respect is important but not always reciprocal and at some point it may be best to not pursue a meaningful discussion
In my experience though, this is rarely the case!
People don’t talk any more because they have stopped listening.
They just want to tell their opinion and don’t care about what opinion others have or even consider their angles

I’ll list a few that I like but with no links because I don’t want to use Amazon and most results that I find are limited to EU based shops anyway so not sure if it helps you. But I am sure you’ll be able to look them up
Sand pendulum. Basically a pendulum that draws patterns on very fine sand. If you see them you can probably make one yourself that is even cooler
Double Pendulum, pretty cool to look at
Gyroscopes.
Tensegrity models. Those floating style structures that actually hang
Decorations with magnetic sand or fluid

Why get married in the first place anyway

Star Trek The Next Generation
Modern Family
Dexter
Ghosts (Both versions)
LOST (right up until just before the end)

I’m almost 50 and had to look up DAE 🤷 It turns out that it is an abbreviation for 48 meanings!
I figured it stands for Does Anyone Else but what has clearly changed as I grew older is, how tired I am of abbreviations
This is the point though… Our world today has an issue, because it has become dependent on fast and unstoppable growth. Companies don’t have to grow fast and big, and they shouldn’t.
Nah… i don’t see shareholding as a loan. Loans cost a set percentage rate. Shareholding costs parts of the company worth. Loans are imo totally legitimate. Shareholding on the other hand, is selling off the company to people who don’t care if it survives or not. As long as they jump ship before it shows signs of sinking
To me it sounds like companies outgrow themselves in the pursuit of growth
It sounds like having public companies is the issue then.
I need to hold my phone further and further away for the letters to not be blurry
Some of them I have given up on 🤦
