As if peoples accents and vocabularies don’t grow and change over time?
A lot of ways to die are excruciatingly painful, but you die, so you don’t live with the pain. If you end up in one of those situations and don’t die (because you are immortal), I imagine the psychological impact of the pain without immediate release could be enough to completely break you, mentally.
Literally wrote my comment and then scrolled down and two of the points I wrote are exactly what you wrote, thats crazy lol
That I am a girl
Your argument was that everything should be gender neutralised. That has nothing to do with OP’s very innocent usage of a quote.
When did I drop a death sentence? Deary me, I advocate for using someone’s pronouns instead of applying they/them to everybody and you consider that a death sentence?
Bad faith argument.
Listing your pronouns isn’t force feeding anything to anyone. Observing someone’s listed pronouns takes less effort than having this discussion.
Using they/them and gender neutral language is helpful as a general rule, but if someone is absolutely fucking waving a flag of their gender, its wilfully ignorant at best and intentionally malicious at worst to disregard it.
Its an honest mistake and I think if you appealed the ban you’d have a good case for it, however as you now know that’s the trans flag you can be more mindful in future :)
Gender is an incredibly validating concept specifically for some trans people, to write it off is unhelpful.
I mean this person seems to be not doing it maliciously. As they say, if it wasn’t them, it would be someone else. Pushing archive to improve their security is great for everyone. As long as this person doesn’t do anything actually malicious, they’re in the clear as far as I’m concerned.
I think it would be best if they drew attention to the people who are being horrible, instead of repeating the horrible things they said. So yeah, you’re not wrong for thinking this is demeaning.
I loved strawberry jam, what a monumental fan work.
I think Celeste can be for everybody, with assist mode you can tune the difficulty to your liking if you’re a less experienced gamer, and the game encourages you the whole way through a well balanced difficulty curve (IMO).
Another “victim” of the Celeste “curse”. Glad you found yourself! :3
Yeah I adore Outer Wilds and I think the storytelling experience of it is gorgeous - one of my all time favourites. I settled on not mentioning it here because I think its a tad less accessible due to the ship movement.
Tunic - at face value it is a gorgeous, brilliantly fun soulslike. Beneath the surface, however, it becomes apparent that the “souls like” part of it is a facade for the true game. Probably one of the single greatest gaming experiences of all time.
The Witcher 3 - it often goes on sale for like… £3 or something ridiculous, and its a standout example of an excellent open world RPG.
Celeste - possibly the single greatest (2d) platforming game ever made, with a soundtrack that is truly unforgettable by the great Lena Raine. Also if you play it you’ll find out you’re trans*
*(your mileage may vary)
Holy shit people. It takes 20 seconds to boot up a computer. Turn your shit off. Save yourself money and save the fucking environment.
I’m polyamorous so my crush would probably be polyamorous as well, so the second situation doesn’t really matter. But being rejected just means you know they don’t see you that way and you can move on, so it’s not that bad anyway. It can be unpleasant in the moment but its part of the human experience
I thiiiink they’re modding the game but still playing on official hardware, so they might be in the clear for now (until Nintendo goes further)
Flying spaghetti monster feels quite obvious
Beyond that I’m vegan so I’d eat snacks off Aphrodite’s belly, therefore snacking upon Aphrodite
