Came at a time when there weren’t barcodes everywhere and QR codes didn’t exist yet. Companies had to publish Cuecat specific barcodes, it was much easier to just type in the URL by the time you figured out you could use it at all.

I have worked in the same office for 22 years, no one knows my birthday, what my hobbies are or where I live other than “downtown”. There is work me and then the real me and never the twain shall meet.

I used to love going into The Sharper Image and Brookstone stores at the mall when I was a kid.

I am still relatively new to Lemmy, so I view New All so I can catch any new communities that I want to subscribe to. Once my list get sufficiently diverse I will switch to New Subscribed.

If I am looking to know about a particular goings on, I will go through the news sites I trust to find the text article. I do not like video on news sites.
