Yeah that is because US is turning into an autocracy where President is actively against some of his people. The way he uses government forces is very reminiscent of Russia, Belarus, Iran, China. UK also has very authoritan movement labeling grandmas terrorist, restricting Internet content, hopefully they come to their senses. That kind of leaves Europe which of course also has it’s issues, but at least the free and democratic elections being the main point.

Sorry not quite following. Yes, we want the people to elect their leaders, just like it’s meant on democracy. Autocracy means there’s a leader you didn’t elect, that means you’re somebodys bitch and there ain’t anything you can do about it. You wanna be somebodys bitch?

Legitimacy comes when leaders are hand picked, by the people, freely. Nothing wrong about that, because that is freedom. You can be pissed off about how your neighbours vote, but you can actually do something about it If you wanna.
